More than 800 premium brands with their stylish collections are showcased on approximately 12,000 m². Twice a year, in February and September, the Eastern European fashion world makes its pilgrimage to Moscow – to attend CPM – Collection Première Moscow. Some 1,000 collections are displayed for about 20,000 international trade visitors on approximately 45,000 m² at the Expocentre Fairgrounds. Eastern Europe’s leading trade show is the international gathering place for industry insiders. Its portfolio includes the following segments: CPM Premium, CPM Accessories, CPM Startup, CPM Kids, CPM Handmade in Russia, plus Mode Lingerie and Swim Moscow. Besides ordering, the event stresses networking, continuing education and support! A total of 40 catwalk shows, countless seminars at the Russian Fashion Retail Forum, trend lectures with WGSN, and the Designer Pool for young up-and-coming talents from Russia – CPM is the mainstay of the fashion industry in Russia and the entire region.
Gallery SHOES provides information in a new design, with a new language and on an international scale. A strong trade show is what drives the sector forward. Just continuing GDS with a different framework simply makes no sense. Everything will be completely thought out again across all levels! With its architecture Areal Böhler not only signals a clear change to Messe Düsseldorf. Gallery SHOES also means a return to an order-oriented trade show. This is also demonstrated by the later date from 27 to 29 August 2017 – from Sunday to Tuesday. The focus of Gallery SHOES lies on the middling to high price segment. In terms of exhibitors we want to achieve a mix of 65% international and 35% German brands.

The Igedo Company – short for Interessengemeinschaft Damenoberbekleidung (Community of Interests for Women’s Outerwear) – as a company with tradition and history is famed as the world’s leading organiser of trade shows. Founded by Willi Kronen in 1949 the first Düsseldorf sales week launched in March of the same year on the historic Ehrenhof site. Just one season later the second edition generated turnover worth millions, catwalk shows were held on the Königsallee for the first time and the success story of the company thus began.
In 1965 his son Manfred Kronen joined the company. By the end of the 1960s 1,000 exhibitors took part in the fashion week in Düsseldorf and the event became ever more international. The fashion city on the Rhine rapidly developed alongside Paris and Milan. The Who’s Who of the fashion sector was presented in Düsseldorf: Cardin, Joop, Lagerfeld, Ungaro or Westwood. In the 90s the company expanded into many international markets such as Hong Kong, Shanghai or Great Britain. Now the largest orders fair in Eastern Europe, CPM – Collection Première Moscow, was launched in Moscow in 2003. Five years later the next generation of the Kronen family, Philipp Kronen, joined the Igedo Company as Managing Partner.
The concept of the existing CPD was then reworked and 2012 saw the launch of THE GALLERY Düsseldorf, away from the exhibition centre at the ›Botschaft‹ on Cecilienallee. THE GALLERY went down extremely well with the retail trade. The fashion trade show has now seen such consistent growth that a new location – Areal Böhler – has been found for 2016. By taking on the role of foreign representative of the fashion fair, Central Asia Fashion in Kazakhstan, Almaty, for the German-speaking countries Germany, Austria and Switzerland, the Igedo Company now takes a further step towards internationalisation. The company has adapted to fundamental changes in the trade show landscape and economic crises for over 65 years now and is a modern, successful company in our fashion sector!
