The B2C platform FASHION AWARE CLUB is an interactive experience format from Igedo Exhibitions that promotes sustainable fashion and conscious consumption in an exciting and creative way. With a changing, inspiring program of workshops, talks, and interactive activities, the Fashion Aware Club is aimed at end consumers who are interested in sustainable fashion and want to discover new, innovative ways of conscious consumption.

The Igedo Exhibitions team organizes exciting events on different dates and in different locations under the motto “Be curious, find out, learn how.” Whether it’s upcycling, repair & care, swap market, or our popular pop-up store—the focus here is on experiencing and participating. In a unique atmosphere, fashion enthusiasts, sustainability enthusiasts, and creative minds come together to exchange knowledge, discover sustainable brands, give garments a second life, and help shape the future of fashion.

Because sustainable fashion can not only make sense, but also be fun—and that’s exactly what the Fashion Aware Club demonstrates with each new edition!

Fashion Aware Club x COSH at SUSTAIN! Düsseldorf

On Saturday, January 24, 2026, we will be guests at the SUSTAIN! Winter Edition at the Theatermuseum Düsseldorf with the Fashion Aware Club. As a pop-up market, SUSTAIN! offers a snapshot of local and regional labels with a sustainable approach, creating a valuable interface between design, responsibility, and urban audiences.

This time, the Fashion Aware Club will feature a curated concept store with great brands from the fashion, lifestyle, and interior design sectors. Ready to discover, shop, and take home. Once again, we are collaborating with COSH! the sustainable fashion platform, to put the spotlight on sustainable, local labels. You can find us on the first floor.

Green Fashion Tour. Sustainable fashion on the move

On Saturday, January 24, 2026, the Green Fashion Tour will take place again in cooperation with Wirtschaftsförderung Düsseldorf and Visit Düsseldorf. The hop-on hop-off bus will take you to selected eco-friendly hotspots in the city.

The tour combines inspiration, background knowledge, and city experiences and is ideal for anyone who wants to gain a holistic understanding of sustainable fashion. Are you in?

DFD Community Meet-Up x Fashion Aware Club @ The Zipper Düsseldorf

After a fantastic start in spring, the DFD Community Meet-Up #2 entered its second round in October – and of course we from the Fashion Aware Club were there again! On 17 October 2025, Düsseldorf’s economic development agency (and us) cordially invited guests to an inspiring afternoon full of exchange, creative impulses and sustainable ideas relating to fashion and community.

In addition to the clothes swap and workshop “sustainable wardrobe” as well as the impulse presentation “brand development & trends”, there was a diverse lineup of inspiring pitches and talks, the presentation of the new Conscious Shopping Map Düsseldorf, and plenty of opportunity for networking with changemakers from the sustainable fashion scene.

Green Fashion Tour 25 January 2025

An exclusive fashion and sustainability day in Düsseldorf. Together with our tour guides Luise (Community Manager COSH! Germany), Marion (Owner & Designer strehlow), Anke (Creative Consultant Igedo Exhibitions), Ina & Daniela (AMD Academy of Fashion & Design), we were able to experience the many facets of sustainable fashion in Düsseldorf. During an extensive tour, we visited studios, designers, trade fairs, pop-ups, and shops during Düsseldorf Fashion Days.

STAGE x Schleuse ZWEI, interactive workshops, and the opportunity to purchase samples from the exhibiting brands at the booth or in the Fashion Aware Club. The store. In addition, visitors could take part in workshops and learn how to save their clothes, as well as participate in DIY specials.

April 2024 – Fashion Aware Club x Ruby On April 18, during FASHION REVOLUTION WEEK, we immersed ourselves in the world of sustainable fashion. We transformed Ruby Carl’s beautiful workspace in downtown Düsseldorf into a place of creativity and inspiration. In addition, visitors could participate in various workshops and use a clothes swap area.
