Igedo Company opens Next Chapter in its Cooperation with Akademie Mode & Design!

Students in the 6th semester of the Fashion and Design Management BA course at the Akademie Mode & Design Düsseldorf today gave their final presentation to the management of the Igedo Company, Mr Philipp Kronen and Ms Ulrike Kähler. But what was it all about? In self-elected groups, the students were given the task of developing a concept for a customer journey for the fashion fair Gallery over a period of three months. The winners received attractive prize money and (in some cases) the chance to implement their proposed solutions together with the Igedo Company.

Commenting on this Ms Kähler said: “For us it has been very exciting to experience and learn how young people in our industry view a trade fair like the Gallery Düsseldorf and what potential they would like to leverage. This sometimes very diverse potential has been presented to us today in a variety of ways. We are very happy to have such an open-minded partner like Akademie Mode & Design which, with such modern learning content, is closely affiliated to the topics that are not only interesting for the economy but are also actually needed.

Mr. Kronen is also “more than satisfied with how comprehensively the students rose to the task over three months, coming up as they did with a wide variety of solutions. The prize money was more than earned by the winning groups”.

The verdict: an all-round successful partnership between business and the university, which is rounded off as “icing on the cake” by the harmonious cooperation with Regine Hövelmann as Dean of Studies in charge of the programme.
